Ticketoffice opens at noon |

It has been decided that the ticketoffice in front of the 013 venue, where everybody needs to exchange their bought ticket for a wristband, will open earlier as planned. The ticketoffice will open at 12:00 in the afternoon. This way everybody can get their tickets exchanged for their wristband in time and will not have to miss any of the first bands due to long waiting times at the counter.
The venue itself will still open at 14:00 hours.

Some changes due to volcanic Eruption |

Due to the Icelandic volcanic eruption, resulting in the absence of flight schedules completely for about 5 days worldwide, there happen to be two cancellations after all. THE RED CHORD and THOSE WHO LIE BENEATH who both were planned to start their European tour together with Rotten Sound and Aborted are not coming. Originally the plan was that they would join in on the touring party after a few days, however, it is now certain that this isn't going to happen.
Obviously the organisation regrets this. Luckily adequate replacements have been found in Austria's BELPHEGOR and Belgium's RESISTANCE

Ash cloud won't influence Neurotic Deathfest |
|

The organisation is inquiring with all artists, managers, booking agents, etc. involved in the Neurotic Deathfest to see if the ash cloud that is located above Europe (due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland) will cause any problems for any of the bands performing on Neurotic Deathfest 2010. So far everything is fine and with flights being picked up again within the Netherlands as of today the organisation won't think there will be any unforseen problems.

As of today there are only 150 combi tickets left for sale. Ticket sales go very strong, so this is expected to be sold out within a matter of days. 1-day tickets for both Friday April 30th and May 1st sold out a little while ago already. If you are planning your trip to Neurotic Deathfest 2010, be sure to get your combi ticket within the next few days now, or you will miss out!

Tickets for Neurotic Deathfest 2010 are going like lightning at this point. A brief update on what is still available and what not:
- 1-day tickets Fri 30 Apr: sold out!
- 1-day tickets Sat 1 May: 37 tickets left!
- 2-day combi tickets: Only a few hundred tickets left!
Even though there are a few hundred combi tickets left people are advised to buy those in advance. In no way it can be guaranteed that there will be tickets for sale at the doors. So buy your tickets in advance, and only buy them from Ticketservice. More information on our tickets page.

With such an enormous line-up it shouldn't come as a surprise that this years Neurotic Deathfest edition might very well sell out. Right now the festival isn't sold out yet, but it is getting very close. As of today there are only 50 1-day tickets left for sale for April 30th and only 80 1-day tickets for May 1st. Next to this there are only a few hundred combi-tickets left. Don't wait much longer if you don't want to miss out.

Affordable accommodation |

Since the more affordable hotels are running out of space during the Neurotic Deathfest weekend we would like to emphasize the following option to people traveling to the Neurotic Deathfest looking for accommodation.
In a small town next to Tilburg, approximately 5km from the venue, there is a holiday park called 'Safaripark De Beekse Bergen'. There are several options of accommodation there. They not only rent out campingspace, but they also rent out bungalow tents, several types of bungalows, as well as several types of chalets and cabins.
Booking a weekend arrangement there would mean checking in on Friday April 30th and checking out (at latest) on May 3rd 2010. With booking this you will get one card per booked in person to swim in the lake, go to the indoor swimming pool, go to the (awesome) safari zoo and so on.
Some of weekend arrangements available (click on link of your choice) are:
4-person Cabin: €259,-
This cabin comes with electricity, one 2-person bed and 2 bunk beds. It has a kitchenette including a small fridge.
4-person 'Vila Chalet': €329,-
This chalet has one bedroom with a twin bed, one bedroom with 2 single beds. It includes toilet, bathroom, shower and kitchen.
6-person 'Jungalow' (Bungalow): €369,-
This bungalow comes with central heathing system, one bedroom with a double bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 bunkbeds. Flatscreen tv, dvd-player and a fully equipped kitchen, toilet and bathroom.
6-person 'Villa Canvas': €299,-
Some sort of crossing between a tent and a bungalow including fridge, kitchenette, toilet, shower cabin and parking space. 3 sleeping areas, 1 area with a twin bed, 2 areas with 2 single beds.
There are several cab companies that drive 24 hours per day. It costs approximately € 17,50 to get to or from the festival (for a full 4 to 9 person cab).

ENEMY REIGN EP to be released in Europe & Contest |

Colorado, US-based extreme metallers ENEMY REIGN will release their critically acclaimed Means To A Dead End EP in Europe through Neurotic Records. The EP was recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (Cephalic Carnage, Martriden, Cobalt et al) in 2008 and, until now, self-distributed through the ENEMY REIGN online webstore. The European version of this EP will contain a newly recorded exclusive bonus track entitled "If The Truth Hurts..... Suffer." The European version will also have exclusive art work and other bonus materials.
The band will make their first ever European appearance on the Neurotic Deathfest and to celebrate this fact the band is willing to donate 1 hooded sweater and 2 t-shirts for a contest on neuroticdeathfest.com. All you have to do is to send an e-mail here with the answer to the following question:

Brittish extreme metal act MAN MUST DIE have been confirmed for Neurotic Deathfest 2010. They are replacing NOX who unfortunately have to cancel due to the fact that they are currently in between drummers.
Ticket sales are in full effect, and they have never gone as well ever before in the history of the Neurotic Deathfest. All potential visitors are advised to get their tickets at their earliest convenience to not miss out.

The earlier booked IMMOLATION tour has been postponed to fall. Luckily in cooperation with the band and the booking agency IMMOLATION and two of their support acts are still going to participate on the Neurotic Deathfest. However, please take notice that IMMOLATION has been rescheduled to perform on Saturday May 1st.
BENEDICTION and MALIGNANCY are the last bands to be confirmed for Neurotic Deathfest 2010, two extraordinary death metal acts who both haven't been performing in the Netherlands for the past few years. The latter will replace Dawn Of Azazel who unfortunately aren't able to make it over from New Zealand without the comfort of the Immolation tour were they were originally planned to appear on.

Reunited Dutch death metal legends PESTILENCE are confirmed to perform on Neurotic Deathfest 2010 on Saturday May 1st 2010.
This leaves the organisation with only one more band to announce to round up the line-up of the 2010 edition of the Neurotic Deathfest.

The grindcore supergroup LOCK UP featuring At The Gates frontman Tomas Lindberg, Anton Reisenegger of Pentagram and Criminal on guitar, Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury and ex-Dimmu Borgir and Testament drummer Nick Barker have been confirmed for Neurotic Deathfest 2010. This will be the first LOCK UP show on Dutch soil in almost ten years.
Furthermore BEHEADED from Malta has been confirmed, as well as the new kick ass band of ex-Skinless vocalist Sherwood Webber called ENEMY REIGN. The latter will perform their very first European show ever on Neurotic Deathfest 2010.
