Another day, another round of announcements. Today the following bands are announced to participate on Neurotic Deathfest 2012:
ANAAL NATHRAKH (UK)
BENIGHTED (FR)
DICTATED (NL)
Benighted have performed consequently in the past few years already, but never before were they seen on the main stage. This year they will open the main stage on Friday March 2nd. Anaal Nathrakh is a longtime favourite of the organization, and they are finally available to crush the stages of Tilburg.

By succesfull tradition, there always is a band that performs on the second stage after the headlining act. This year is no different, and on Sunday March 4th, dutch gore deathmetal band will unleash their fury as closing act on the second stage of Neurotic Deathfest 2012.

It is with great honour that we can reveal a total of eleven new acts performing on Neurotic Deathfest 2012. First and foremost we would like to welcome INTERNAL BLEEDING to the line-up, making a very rare appearance. COLDWORKER are delighted to join the billing after nothing but great memories of their 2008 appearance. Other exciting acts added to the ranks include CATTLE DECAPITATION, ORIGIN, BLOOD RED THRONE, DECAPITATED and ABORTED.

As of today four new bands are added to the 2012 line-up. These bands are: The French grinders of SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION, ABYSMAL TORMENT from Malta. UNCLEANSED, with Viral Load's own Shawn Whitaker and MODUS DELICTI from Italy.

From now on we'll give you a once-a-week top five of what music we are listening to while organizing a festival such as Neurotic Deathfest 2011. Not necessarily all new records, not necessarily all death metal, but just a rundown of things we listen to at that moment. This weeks list:

After an intensely successful 2011 edition, Neurotic Deathfest will once again return to the infamous 013 venue in Tilburg. Contrary to all preceding editions, the festival will be held over the course of three days and a total of over fifty top acts will rise up on the stages of Tilburg. The first set of artists are confirmed by now, including milestone acts such as Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Suffocation, Morgoth, Napalm Death and Acheron.
None less than the worlds most renown death metal act CANNIBAL CORPSE has been contracted as one of the headlining acts for Neurotic Deathfest 2012, after being high up on the organization's wish list for many years. Although BEHEMOTH have performed on the 2008 and 2009 editions of the festival, they deserve a prominent place on the 2012 edition. After front man Nergal overcome his struggle against leukaemia the band is back, with a vengeance. The German old-school sensation that is MORGOTH really wanted to perform past year, but due to several reasons it never came to an agreement. This year they will definitely be here, and they are looking forward to it we might add! You can never go wrong with the grind core institute that is NAPALM DEATH. Success assured. This obviously can be said about SUFFOCATION as well. Past year when he was participating on the festival with Incantation, drummer Kyle Severn of ACHERON fame, informed the organization that he was really interested to come back over with Acheron in 2012. That he wasn't joking became imminently clear when their manager recently got in touch.
Other acts that can be revealed at this point are: MISERY INDEX, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, CARNIFEX, BENEATH THE MASSACRE, SUICIDAL ANGELS, WITHIN THE RUINS, MOLOTOV SOLUTION. A total of over 50 top acts will perform on Neurotic Deathfest 2012, divided over three days. Please keep a close eye on the website for updates. Ticket sales will commence from September 17, 10:00 AM CET. Ticket prices will be announced separately.
